The Indiana Chapter, along with Northern Illinois, Great Rivers, and Passavant Chapters of the society will be in retreat Monday-Wednesday, May 5-7, 2025, at the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein, Maria Stein, OH. Our senior, The Rev’d Patrick (Paddy) Rooney will preach and preside at our opening mass and preside at the closing mass. Rev. Dr. Matthew Becker will be our in-house theologian as we begin a conversation on Edmund Schlink and his writings on the sacrament of Holy Baptism. Schlink’s study of Christian baptism was a major resource for the World Council of Church’s (WCC) ground-breaking document, Baptism, Eucharist, and Ministry. Please contact Rev’d Norman Dew if you have interest in attending this retreat. As always, you do not have to be a member of the society in order to participate in this retreat.
